The Firm is representing a fund managed by the BlackRock Global Infrastructure business and Capital Power Investments LLC in their announced joint purchase of Harquahala Generation Company, LLC (“Harquahala”). The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024, subject to customary closing conditions. The Firm is also representing BlackRock in its 50/50 partnership with Capital Power in connection with the transaction.
Harquahala owns the 1,092 MW Harquahala natural gas-fired generation facility in Maricopa County, Arizona.
