Simpson Thacher Represents Citi in Debt Financing for Vertiv’s $1.8 Billion Acquisition of the E&I Engineering Group

The Firm is representing Citigroup Global Markets Inc. as financial advisor and debt finance provider to Vertiv Holdings Co (NYSE: VRT) (“Vertiv”) in connection with Vertiv’s acquisition of E&I Engineering Ireland Limited and its affiliate, Powerbar Gulf LLC (“E&I”).  The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021 subject to customary closing conditions.
