Simpson Thacher is representing EQT and its portfolio company, EdgeConneX, in connection with a substantial minority investment in EdgeConneX by Sixth Street, a global investment firm with over $80 billion in assets under management and committed capital. EQT Infrastructure will remain the largest shareholder following the closing of the transaction. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
