Joshua advises private funds and alternative investment asset managers on complex U.K. and EU financial regulatory matters. Joshua has extensive experience advising asset managers, private funds and financial institutions on U.K. and EU financial market regulations, including AIFMD, MiFID, UCITS, MAR and the U.K. regulatory framework.

Joshua Price is Counsel in the European financial services and funds regulatory practice. Joshua advises private funds and alternative investment asset managers on complex U.K. and EU financial regulatory matters. Joshua has extensive experience on advising asset managers, private funds and financial institutions on U.K. and EU financial market regulations including AIFMD, MiFID, UCITS, MAR and the U.K. regulatory framework.
Joshua has been extensively involved in advising on the establishment, expansion and ongoing regulatory obligations on many of the leading European private markets semi-liquid evergreen funds.
His practice also includes advising asset managers, private funds and financial institutions on the regulatory aspects of M&A and restructurings within the financial sector. Joshua is a member of the Asset Management Scoping Forum of the Financial Markets Law Committee and attends Invest Europe working groups focusing on the EU retail investment strategy.

Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Joshua trained and worked at a magic circle firm focusing on U.K. and EU financial services regulation. Joshua received his LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Law, London in 2012 and his B.A. (Hons) from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London in 2011.
