Simpson Thacher represented Blackstone in connection with the establishment of its seventh and most recent European opportunistic real estate fund, Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VII (“BREP Europe VII”). Blackstone has announced that BREP Europe VII raised €9.8 ($10.6) billion of total capital commitments, making it the largest European real estate drawdown fund ever raised based on third party capital commitments.
