Simpson Thacher represented Bruin Capital, a New York-based investment firm, on four acquisitions to create the sports representation agency branded As1. The acquisitions bring together Promoesport, Nomi Sports, Positionumber and Football Division Worldwide on the As1 platform. As1 is part of a new holding structure called Legion Sports that is backed by The Jordan Company.
As1 represents over 300 elite players, including top English Premier League talent in Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo, as well as high-profile coaches such as Ruben Amorim of Manchester United. It ranks as the seventh largest football representation agency in the world.
The Simpson Thacher team includes James R.
