Simpson Thacher represented Technology Crossover Ventures (“TCV”) in connection with TCV’s investment in Nubank, a leading digital finance platform in Latin America. Nubank is Brazil’s sixth-largest financial institution by number of clients and provides fully digital financial services including credit cards, savings accounts and personal loans. TCV was the lead investor in an investment round that raised $400 million.
TCV is a private equity and venture capital firm that partners with CEOs and founders of public and private growth-stage technology companies as they strive to achieve market leadership.
