Simpson Thacher was profiled by Law360 as a Capital Markets Practice Group of the Year for 2018. The feature highlighted the Firm’s work across a range of transactions spanning from Wall Street to Silicon Valley, including Dropbox’s $756 million IPO and ADT’s $1.47 billion return to the public markets. The profile also showcased the Firm’s role counseling the underwriters in CVS Health Corp.’s $40 billion debt offering and its representation of Hovnanian in several innovative transactions in which the company refinanced loans via bonds, and exchanged bonds for favorable longer-term financing.
