Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ) recognized two matters on which Simpson Thacher advised among its “Deals of the Year” as part of its 2024 Private Equity and Venture Capital Awards. The acquisition of jinjer by J-STAR and Potentia Capital, on which Simpson Thacher advised J-STAR, was named “Deal of the Year – Mid Cap.” The Simpson Thacher team advising on this matter included Dave Azcue, Adam Furber, Mai Kristofferson, Haozhou (Nick) Qiu, Li Jiang and Angela Deng (Asia—Private Funds); Steven Homan (New York—Private Funds); Nancy Mehlman, Caroline W.
