Adam holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. from Colby College. Adam has been based in Asia for more than 20 years, prior to which he was based in New York. He has lived in Brazil, China and Germany, and has basic Mandarin skills and is fluent in Portuguese and German.
