The Firm recently represented Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation ("NiMo"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of National Grid plc (“National Grid”), in connection with two Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings of $1.25 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes.
NiMo is one of the leading electricity transmission and distribution service providers in New York, and National Grid is one of the largest utilities in the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2007, National Grid acquired KeySpan Energy. The firm represented KeySpan in that transaction.
