Patrick M. Baron is Senior Counsel in the Firm’s Corporate Department. Patrick’s practice is focused on domestic and international corporate finance transactions. He has represented both investment banks and issuers in high yield financings, debt restructurings, liability management transactions, initial public offerings and other capital raising transactions. Patrick also regularly advises clients with respect to securities laws and general corporate matters.

Patrick joined Simpson Thacher in 2001. He received his J.D. from the University of Cologne School of Law in Germany in 1997 and his LL.M. from Cornell Law School in 2001. Patrick is admitted to practice in New York and Germany.
