The Firm is representing Hellman & Friedman in the $2.4 billion acquisition of Getty Images, Inc. (NYSE: GYI). The company is the world's leading creator and distributor of visual content and digital media.
As part of the transaction, Getty Investments and certain related parties (including the co-founder and chairman, Mark Getty), who collectively hold approximately 15% of the Company's shares, have agreed to vote in favor of the transaction and rollover their shares into the acquiring entity. Financing is being provided by Barclays Capital, GE Commercial Finance and RBS Greenwich Capital.
