Tom Lloyd

Tom Lloyd is Partner in the Firm’s London office, where he is head of the London Real Estate Finance practice and co-head of the London Real Estate group.

Tom advises clients on an array of credit transactions and financial instruments, as well as cross-border finance issues, with a focus on sponsor driven real estate financing. Some of Tom’s clients include Blackstone, KKR and Apollo.

Tom recently advised on:

• Blackstone in its refinancing of Village Hotels group
• Apollo on multiple refinancings of its Irish hotel portfolio, with aggregate TEV of more than €400 million
• Blackstone in its financing of a c. €1 billion pan-European logistics portfolio purchased in a joint venture with Burstone Group
• Blackstone in the financing of the European assets in its joint venture with Digital Realty to develop and own $7 billion of hyperscale data centers
• Blackstone on the financing of its €21 billion recapitalisation of Mileway and subsequent multiple refinancings
• Blackstone and HIP on ~€2 billion multiple financings and refinancings of high-end Spanish hotels
• Blackstone on multiple CMBS financings during 2023 and 2024 
• St Modwen on the financing of the take-private of St Modwen and the financing of its whole business and the subsequent refinancing of its standing and development logistics portfolios
• KKR in financing of its £900 million acquisition of a UK Marriott branded hotel portfolio from ADIA 
• Hotel Investment Partners in its acquisition financing of the Hotel Grand Hyatt located in Athens, Greece
• Apollo Global management on the €287 million financing of a portfolio of German residential properties
