Kate has extensive experience in advising private equity and other investment funds on complex financings designed to provide fund-level leverage to facilitate and support investment activities. She regularly advises leading sponsors on a broad range of financings including capital call facilities, NAV facilities, GP facilities and co-investment facilities as well as other bespoke financing solutions.

Kate is recognized as a “Notable Practitioner” by IFLR 1000 and was named one of The Drawdown’s “Most Influential Fund Finance Experts of 2022”. Kate has spoken at various Fund Finance Association conferences, most recently presenting at the Fund Finance Association European University on “Advanced Structuring Issues in Fund Finance: Multiple Creditor Classes”. She also co-authored the chapter “A Borrower’s Guide to NAVigating the Globe: An International Overview of Net Asset Value Facilities” for the Global Legal Insights’ Fund Finance 2024. Kate is actively involved in Women in Fund Finance, an organization focused on the increased engagement and promotion of women leaders within the fund finance industry.

Kate was admitted as an English solicitor in 2004. She completed her Legal Practice Course in 2001 at Nottingham Law School and received her B.C.L. from the University College Dublin in 1999. She is admitted to England and Wales.
