Carol Daniel routinely advises private equity sponsors, issuers and underwriters on their high yield bond offerings, restructurings, initial public offerings and other corporate finance transactions. She has also represented corporations and private equity sponsors in a variety of leveraged buyouts transactions, as well as general corporate and securities law matters. Some of her recent representations have included, Cognita, New Look and Hurtigruten. Having practiced in both our New York and London offices, her clients have included Apax, TDR, KKR and their portfolio companies as well as JPMorgan and Credit Suisse.

Carol Daniel is a Partner in Simpson Thacher’s London office and a member of the Firm’s Corporate Department. Carol’s primary area of concentration is capital markets, an area in which the Firm has a preeminent U.S. and international presence.

Carol started her career at Simpson Thacher in 2007 and was made partner in 2016. She received her B Com and LL.B from the University of New South Wales in 2005.
