Beth Cowen is a Partner in the Private Funds Practice in the London office. Her practice focuses on the formation and operation of private investment funds across a variety of investment strategies, including private equity, growth and infrastructure, as well as related aspects of the alternative investment class, including single investor funds, co-investment arrangements and the structuring of carried interest and other incentive schemes. Beth has represented a number of leading sponsors of investment funds, including Actis, Blackstone, CapVest, Cinven, EQT and Stonepeak.

Beth's recent work highlights include:

  • EQT in its syndication to institutional co-investors of equity interests in Avetta, LLC and Zeus Company, Inc.

Beth received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, before earning her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she served as an articles editor of the Columbia Law Review. Beth is admitted to practice in New York and is a registered foreign lawyer with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
