Ari Goldman

A Partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice, Ari Goldman regularly represents private equity firms and portfolio companies on a broad range of commercial real estate financing transactions (including CMBS, balance sheet, mezzanine, agency and construction financings) across a variety of asset classes (including industrial, life science, data center, office, studio, hospitality, self-storage and retail).

Ari’s representative transactions have included:

• Multiple CMBS, balance sheet and mezzanine loans in connection with Blackstone’s acquisition of the U.S. logistics business of Global Logistics Properties (GLP) for a purchase price of $18.7 billion
• CMBS and mezzanine financings in connection with Blackstone’s acquisition of the industrial real estate assets and affiliated industrial operating platform of Colony Capital, for an aggregate purchase price of $5.9 billion
• CMBS financing in connection with Blackstone’s acquisition of 49% of Hudson Pacific Properties Hollywood Studio and Office Portfolio
• CMBS and balance sheet financings in connection with Blackstone’s acquisition of PS Business Parks, Inc. in a transaction valued at approximately $7.6 billion
• CMBS financing in connection with Blackstone’s acquisition of the real estate assets of Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand for approximately $4.6 billion
• Balance sheet financing in connection with the acquisition by Centerbridge Partners, L.P. of all of the outstanding shares of INDUS Realty Trust, Inc.
• Lindsay Goldberg in connection with its acquisition and financing of a portfolio of select service hotels
