Amanda is also a member of the Firm’s Private Funds Practice and has over twenty years of experience in the formation and operation of private equity funds, hedge funds, co-investment funds, funds-of-one and other similar custom arrangements.
Amanda also concentrates her practice on complex regulatory matters, including compliance with, or exclusion or exemption from, registration under the Advisers Act, as well as the structuring of acquisitions of other investment managers.

Amanda has significant experience representing family offices, universities, foundations and cultural institutions with their investment activities. She also manages the Firm’s World Sky resources, and specializes in advising clients on matters related to global offerings of private funds.
Amanda has been with the Firm since 2001 and was previously based in the Firm’s Hong Kong office from 2008 to 2015. She is admitted to the Hong Kong Law Society as a Solicitor and is also admitted to practice law in the State of New York. She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude.
