Based in the Firm’s London office, Joshua Price is Counsel in the European Financial Services and Funds Regulatory Practice.
Joshua advises private funds and alternative investment asset managers on complex UK and EU financial regulatory matters. Joshua has extensive experience on advising asset managers, private funds and financial institutions on UK and EU financial market regulations including AIFMD, MiFID, ELTIFR, UCITS Directive, MAR and the UK regulatory framework. Joshua has been extensively involved in advising on the establishment, expansion and ongoing regulatory obligations on many of the leading European evergreen private wealth funds.

Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Joshua trained and worked at a magic circle firm focusing on UK and EU financial services regulation. Joshua received his LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Law, London in 2012 and his B.A. (Hons) from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London in 2011.
