Based in Palo Alto, his practice focuses on the establishment and operation of private investment funds, including buyout funds, growth equity funds, infrastructure funds and real estate funds, as well as co-investment arrangements and secondaries. He also advises sponsors on internal governance matters and regulatory compliance. He has represented leading fund sponsors, including Hellman & Friedman, Technology Crossover Ventures, Blackstone, KKR, Carlyle and Rockpoint Group, among others.

Notable work highlights include representation of:

  • Rockpoint Group in the formation of Rockpoint Real Estate Fund VI and Rockpoint Growth and Income Real Estate Fund III, which raised a combined $5.8 billion;

David received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University.
