- global cold-storage operator on a variety of transactions relating to its cold-storage assets, including the £282m CMBS in respect of its UK portfolio and the €130m refinancing of its pan-European portfolio
- debt fund on its £80m senior/mezzanine refinancing of a hotel development and subsequent disposal of the senior loan

Ben Rodger is Counsel in Simpson Thacher’s London office and a member of the Real Estate Department. Ben concentrates his practice on private equity real estate acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures on behalf of leading international fund sponsors.

- European bank on the £35m loan-on-loan development financing of a hotel in the UK
- European bank on its participations in loans ultimately secured against care home portfolios in the UK
- European bank on the DKK507m development financing of an asset located in Denmark
- European debt fund on a £25m mezzanine loan ultimately secured on a UK office property
- leisure operator on its JV and financing arrangements in respect of hotel and flexible working sites in the UK and Portugal
- US hotel operator on its £435m senior/mezzanine financing in respect of a prestigious London hotel and the subsequent disposal of the asset
Ben received his LPC from BPP Law School in 2011 and his Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School in 2010. He received his B.A. in History from the University of Dublin, Trinity College in 2008.
