Simpson Thacher represented Waystar Holding Corp. (“Waystar”) and an entity affiliated with EQT AB (“EQT”) in connection with a secondary offering of common stock of Waystar by EQT and other selling stockholders. The offering of 23,000,000 shares of Waystar’s common stock (inclusive of the underwriters’ option to purchase up to 3,000,000 additional shares of common stock) raised approximately $920 million in gross proceeds, with the selling stockholders receiving all of the proceeds from the offering.
Waystar’s mission is to simplify healthcare payments through its modern cloud-based software, enabling its healthcare clients to prioritize patient care and optimize their financial performance.
