Simpson Thacher represented the unitranche lenders in connection with the financing of the acquisition of Axis Europe by funds advised by H.I.G. Capital. The acquisition and funding under the unitranche facility closed on August 9, 2024.
The acquisition was made in connection with the proposed combination of Axis Europe with CLC Group, another portfolio company of H.I.G., to create a leading UK property maintenance specialist, delivering essential services to clients across a range of end-markets including social housing, local government, healthcare, education, defense, utilities and hospitality.
