Brookfield to Acquire nVent’s Thermal Management Business in $1.7 Billion Transaction

The Firm is representing funds affiliated with Brookfield Asset Management in the announced acquisition of the Thermal Management business of nVent Electric plc (NYSE: NVT) in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.7 billion, subject to customary closing adjustments. The transaction is expected to close by early 2025, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. 

nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Its Thermal Management business, which includes the industry-leading RAYCHEM and TRACER brands, provides mission critical thermal solutions.
