Keegan’s clients have included Ingersoll Rand, Stonepeak, Blackstone, Sony Music Entertainment, Investor AB and its portfolio companies, Sarnova and Laborie Medical Technologies, Thompson Street Capital Partners and KKR, among many others. Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Keegan worked at another international law firm where he also advised private equity firms and public and private companies, including KKR in its $2.2 billion acquisition of Arnott’s and certain of Campbell’s International Operations from Campbell Soup Company.

Keegan received his LL.B. (with Honors) from the University of Auckland, where he received the Senior Scholar Award from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Law Dean's Academic Excellence Award. Keegan received his B.A. from the University of Auckland.
