Simpson Thacher represented Sixth Street Lending Partners (the “Fund”) in its offering of $600.0 million aggregate principal amount of its 6.500% Notes due 2029. The Fund intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to pay down a portion of the Fund’s outstanding indebtedness. The transaction closed on March 11, 2024.
The Fund is an externally managed, non-diversified, closed-end management investment company that has elected to be regulated as a business development company under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended. The Fund had approximately $3.1 billion of investments at fair value as of December 31, 2023. The Fund’s investment objective is to generate current income by targeting investments with favorable risk-adjusted returns.
Sixth Street Lending Partners Advisers, LLC, an affiliate of Sixth Street Partners, is the Fund’s investment adviser.
