Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in €500 Million Senior Notes and €500 Million Green Bond Offering by V.F. Corporation

The Firm represented the underwriters in connection with the offering by V.F. Corporation (“VFC”) of €1 billion aggregate principal amount of senior notes, comprising €500 million of 4.125% Senior Notes due 2026 and €500 million of 4.25% Senior Notes due 2029 (the “Green Bond”). VFC intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of borrowings under their commercial paper program. VFC intends to use an amount equivalent to the net proceeds from the Green Bond to finance eligible projects designed to contribute to selected Sustainable Development Goals.
