Simpson Thacher Represents Initial Purchasers in $1.95 Billion Senior Notes Offering by Broadcom

Simpson Thacher represented the initial purchasers, led by BofA Securities, Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and RBC Capital Markets, LLC, in connection with the Rule 144A/Regulation S offering by Broadcom Inc. (NASDAQ: AVGO) of $1.95 billion aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes over two tranches.

Broadcom plans to use the net proceeds of the Notes offering, together with cash on hand, to redeem all of its outstanding 4.7% Senior Notes due 2025 and 4.25% Senior Notes due 2026, and to pay fees and expenses in connection therewith.
