Simpson Thacher was recognized at the Asian Legal Business Korea Law Awards 2020 for representing SoftBank in the joint tender offer with NAVER Corporation of LINE Corporation (a NAVER subsidiary listed on the TSE and the NYSE) and the subsequent business integration between LINE and Z Holdings Corp. (a SoftBank subsidiary listed on the TSE and formerly known as Yahoo! Japan). The significant business integration of Z Holdings and LINE was named “M&A Deal of the Year.”
