The Firm is representing KKR in connection with the sale of Kokusai Electric Corporation to Applied Materials, Inc. The transaction values Kokusai Electric at approximately US$2.2 billion. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. The Firm also represented KKR in its acquisition of Kokusai Electric in 2017.
