Simpson Thacher is representing Blackstone in connection with its proposed majority investment (along with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board) in Advarra Holdings, Inc. (“Advarra”). Blackstone is investing in Advarra through its core private equity strategy, which invests in high-quality companies for longer periods than traditional private equity. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
