Korea Electric Power Corporation Completes US$3 Billion GMTN Programme Update and US$500 Million Green Bond Senior Notes Offering

Simpson Thacher, acting as sole international counsel, represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and Merrill Lynch International, as dealers, in connection with the update of the US$3 billion Global Medium Term Note programme of Korea Electric Power Corporation. In addition, Simpson Thacher, acting as sole international counsel, represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and Merrill Lynch International, as joint lead managers, in connection with the offering of US$500 million 2.5% Green Bond Senior Notes due 2024 by Korea Electric Power Corporation under its Global Medium Term Note programme. The offering was conducted in reliance upon Rule 144A and Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
