Simpson Thacher, acting as sole international counsel, represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited, Merrill Lynch International and The Korea Development Bank as joint lead managers, in connection with the offering of US$500 million 5.375% Green Bond Senior Unsecured Notes due April 6, 2026 and US$300 million 5.5% Green Bond Senior Unsecured Notes due April 6, 2028 by Korea Electric Power Corporation under its Global Medium Term Note programme. The offering was conducted in reliance upon Rule 144A and Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
