EQT Acquires Kodiak Gas Services

Simpson Thacher represented the EQT Infrastructure III fund in its announced acquisition of Kodiak Gas Services, LLC from The Stephens Group, LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2011, Kodiak is the largest privately owned contract compression company in the U.S.; providing necessary compression equipment for the extraction of oil and transportation of natural gas in the United States. With over 1,130,000 revenue generating horsepower deployed across key basins, Kodiak has a differentiated offering focused on exceptional customer service and technical performance.
