The Firm represented Hellman & Friedman in connection with the organization of Hellman & Friedman Capital Partners IX, L.P. (the “Fund”), an approximately $16 billion private equity fund focused on large-scale buyouts. The Fund is the second largest PE fund closing of 2018 according to PitchBook, and the largest in Hellman & Friedman’s history, surpassing HFCP VIII, a fund that raised approximately $10.9 billion on which Simpson Thacher also advised.
