Simpson Thacher is representing Renaissance Learning, a portfolio company of Hellman & Friedman, in its sale to Francisco Partners. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018. The financial terms of the transaction were not announced.
Renaissance, headquartered in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, is a leader of K-12 assessment and learning analytics with a presence in more than a third of U.S. schools and 70 countries around the world.
