Simpson Thacher represented Clearlake Capital in the establishment of the company’s largest private equity fund to date, Clearlake Capital Partners Fund V (“Fund V”), which announced a final close at its $3.6 billion hard cap. Fund V will invest in the industrials, energy and technology sectors.
The Simpson Thacher team included Tom Wuchenich, Crystal Frierson, Audrey Jeung, Avi Herescu, John Kreager, Catherine Maleki, Ben Harris, Michael Deitch and Adam Spaulding (Funds); Jackie Clinton and Jasmine Hay (Tax); and Brian Robbins and Erin Murphy (ECEB).
