Simpson Thacher Advises on $400 Million Offering of Senior Notes by Smithfield Foods

Simpson Thacher represented the initial purchasers, led by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, in connection with the 144A/Reg S offering by Smithfield Foods, Inc. of $400 million of senior notes. The senior notes are guaranteed by certain of Smithfield’s U.S. subsidiaries.
