Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc., in connection with the public offering by Air Lease Corporation of $600 million aggregate principal amount of 2.625% Senior Notes due 2022. The net proceeds of the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, the purchase of commercial aircraft and the repayment of existing indebtedness.
Air Lease Corporation is an aircraft leasing company, principally engaged in purchasing commercial aircraft and leasing them to airlines around the world.
