Travelers Completes $700 Million Notes Offering

The Firm represented The Travelers Companies, Inc. in connection with its SEC registered offering of $700 million in aggregate principal amount of 4% Senior Notes due 2047. Proceeds of the offering will be used for the retirement of existing indebtedness and to fund a portion of the purchase price of Travelers’ announced acquisition of Simply Business, a leading digital provider of insurance policies to small businesses in the United Kingdom.
Travelers is a holding company principally engaged, through its subsidiaries, in providing a wide range of commercial and personal property and casualty insurance products and services to businesses, government units, associations and individuals.
