Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters in connection with a $600 million debt offering by Concho Resources Inc. (“Concho”). BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo Securities were the joint bookrunning managers for the offering. Concho intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to finance the redemption of its outstanding 6.5% 2022 Notes.
Concho is an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development, exploration and production of oil and natural gas properties. Concho’s operations are focused in the Permian Basin of southeast New Mexico and west Texas.
