Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $500 Million Notes Offering for Kimberly-Clark

The Firm recently represented underwriters, led by Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and the other underwriters in connection with a registered offering by Kimberly-Clark Corporation (“Kimberly-Clark”) of $500 million aggregate principal amount of its 3.2% Notes due July 30, 2046. The net proceeds from the transaction will be used for general corporate purposes, including to repay certain commercial paper indebtedness.

Kimberly-Clark is a global company focused on leading the world in essentials for a better life through product innovation and building its personal care, consumer tissue and K-C Professional brands. The company is principally engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of a wide range of products mostly made from natural or synthetic fibers using advanced technologies in fibers, nonwovens and absorbency. Its leading brands include Kleenex, Scott, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex and Depend.
