Nacional Financiera Completes Offering of International Certificados Bursátiles

The Firm represented Nacional Financiera, Sociedad Nacional de Crédito, Institución de Banca de Desarrollo (“Nafin”) in connection with the placement and sale of 6.2% Certificados Bursátiles due 2026 (Cebures) issued by Nafin together with other debt securities offered to the public in Mexico that was registered with the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (the Mexican securities commission). The Cebures are denominated and payable only in Mexican pesos and are settled through Indeval (the Mexican securities clearing agency), and were delivered to international investors through accounts of Euroclear and Clearstream at Indeval. The Cebures will be listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange and the Irish Stock Exchange. The transaction was consummated pursuant to Regulation S. 

Nafin is a development bank wholly owned by the Mexican government that provides access to affordable financing to micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises operating in Mexico. Nafin also provides financing for energy and infrastructure development projects.
