Several Simpson Thacher matters were named “Deals of the Year” for 2024 by LatinFinance. The Firm was recognized for advising on the following winning matters:
- BBB Foods’ $677 million IPO, which was named “Initial Public Offering of the Year”
- BCI Chile’s $500 million offering of 8.750% PerpNC5 Notes, which was named “Financial Institution Deal of the Year”
- The Dominican Republic’s $3 billion Triple-Tranche Bond offering, which was named “Sovereign Local Currency Deal of the Year”
- Raizen’s $1.5 billion Green Bond offering, which was named “Corporate Sustainable/ESG Deal of the Year”
Additionally, Ambipar was named “Debut Issuer of the Year” for its inaugural $750 million offering of Senior Unsecured Green Notes, on which the Firm advised Ambipar. Several of the Firm’s matters also received “Honorable Mention” recognition, including LD Celulose’s $650 million inaugural Green Secured Notes offering, América Móvil’s $1.1 billion peso-denominated Senior Notes offering, and LATAM Airlines’ $460 million re-IPO and re-listing on the NYSE.
