Simpson Thacher is representing Lake Region Medical Holdings, Inc. (“Lake Region Medical”) in its proposed sale to Greatbatch, Inc. (“Greatbatch”) (NYSE: GB), a cash and stock transaction valued at approximately $1.73 billion. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2015, subject to customary closing conditions and pending completion of all necessary regulatory reviews.
