Simpson Thacher was recently named “International Deal Firm of the Year” at the 2015 ALB Japan Law Awards.
The Firm also received the award for “Equity Market Deal of the Year” for its representation of Skylark in its US$698 million initial public offering on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. To read more about this transaction, click here.

Additionally, the Firm received the award for “Real Estate Deal of the Year” for its representation of Mitsui Fudosan in its global offering of common stock.
The 11th annual ALB Japan Law Awards were held on June 18 in Tokyo and recognized the achievements of Japan's leading law firms and in-house legal teams, as well as the top deals and dealmakers of the past year.
