The Firm represented Blackstone Chairman and CEO Steve Schwarzman in connection with his $150 million gift to Yale. The gift will be used to fund the renovation of the Commons, which will serve as a performance space and cultural center. The renovated building will be called the Schwarzman Center and is scheduled to open in 2020. This gift is the second largest ever made to Yale. The Simpson Thacher team included Jennifer Reynoso and Kevin Roe.
