Simpson Thacher Represents Credit Suisse in US$200 Million Debt Offering by The Export-Import Bank of Korea

Simpson Thacher recently represented Credit Suisse as the sole initial purchaser
in connection with an SEC-registered shelf takedown of US$200 million Floating
Rates Notes due 2016 as issued by The Export-Import Bank of Korea (“KEXIM”) and
guaranteed by The Republic of Korea. KEXIM, a Schedule B issuer, is a
statutorily created policy bank in Korea charged with promoting the export and
competitiveness of Korean goods and services in the international markets
through financing facilities and lending policies in line with the overall
economic policies of the Korean government.
