The Firm is representing Greenhill & Co. as advisor to Frontier Communications Corporation’s (NASDAQ: FTR) Board of Directors in connection with Frontier Communications’ proposed acquisition of Verizon Communications Inc.’s (NYSE: VZ) (“Verizon”) wireline operations that provide services to residential, commercial and wholesale customers in California, Florida and Texas, for $10.54 billion in cash. These Verizon properties include 3.7 million voice connections, 2.2 million broadband connection, and 1.2 million FiOS® video connections. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first half of 2016.

Frontier Communications offers broadband, voice, video, wireless Internet data access, Frontier Secure data security solutions, bundled offerings and specialized bundles for residential customers, small businesses and home offices, and advanced communications for medium and large businesses in 28 states. Frontier's approximately 17,400 employees are based entirely in the United States.
